It’s groups of students, called Youth Councils, who are experts in knowing neighbourhoods and want to create solutions to problems in their neighbourhood.

What Do They Do?

The Youth Councils create ways to celebrate neighbourhood strengths and investigate neighbourhood problems. They develop solutions to problems they think are important in the neighbourhood.
The Youth Councils work with other community leaders, called a Resource Committee, that help them get things done.

Who’s In Kids Alliance

There are Kids Alliance Youth Councils in 8 neighbourhoods in Windsor. The Youth Councils are made up of grade 7 & 8 students. Kids Alliance Alumni are kids in grades 9 to 12 who keep working in Kids Alliance after they get into high school.
